The pages are rough cut and hand stitched into the spine of this beautiful hand crafted leather journal that is large enought to handle just about anything. The hand stitched binding is nearly indestructible and is much stronger than a machine binding. The deckled edge of the 96 rough cut pages adds to the unique rustic look of our leather journals. The fancy Sundance Felt paper is a cotton rag blend that is ideal for writing and drawing. It is an acid free paper, perfect for pictures and is accepting of all writing implements including water color paints!

We use a top grain steer hide leather because it shows more natural weathering and scarring which gives our leather journals the rustic feel that we strive to maintain.
